Colors (for Charles Rushton)
© mylatehope.com
Spilled paint cans for Charles Ruston, who has an uncanny ability to capture beauty in all things.
Created using my Holga 120CFN with 21 year expired Kodak Ektachrome 200 slide film, cross processed with C41. Negative scanned with my Epson v700 Perfection scanner. No digital manipulation used!

OH yesssss, that crumpled paper in the alley - I get this! And you, dear, possess that same quality. Paul, I need to tell you, there are about three people who have been a real inspiration to me in getting my arse back into my dark room after having dabbled with digital for a few years. YOU are one. I have been utterly inspired by the abject gorgeousness of what you do, and of your dedication to it. In fact, when I go back to the photo shop who is fixing a broken back on my Hasselblad, I am gonna inquire if he has any outdated film. If so, I'll mail it to ya!
You work indicates that you are wonderfully curious, adventurous, and patient. It is quite a body of work to behold. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for inspiring. You rock, flat out, you rock! -
