A Stage Full of Nothing
. . . .My first attempt at photographing live music. The band WAS called Avarice and at the time I only knew the drummer. I really had no idea what I was doing and for the most part I still don't, but digital sure makes it easier to pretend. I miss grain though.
The truth of the matter is, I usually dislike taking pictures at shows. I hate taking pictures of anything that rarely get to enjoy, I find that my memory becomes vague and I miss a lot when I am sighting in on something. Most of the time I just want to be far far away from a camera and to just sit down and soak it up; no responsibilities.
Every once in awhile though, at a show . . . . I can't resist.
Here is my picture for the ON STAGE theme: That's levitation, holmes!
