Johnny kind to the locals
1000 of people stood out in all the weather waiting for the chance to meet Johnny Depp... every night after working all day he took his own time to walk down HUGE line of on lookers and shake as many hands as he could... taking extra care to stop and say hello to the wee children waiting to see him
In the A moment in time photo essay.

I'd say close or over 2000 people took a photo just like this. Johnny came out after each day of shooting until the day he left town... he did not have to - it was his idea...

I knew it! I knew he was a good guy. Great shot here & this is a good series. Maybe you have enough pictures for a photoessay.

Checked out your link VickiLynn ... that's an enormous cast and crew to have in your town. I'll have to see the movie when it reaches our shores. Did Johnny need his "minders" on his walk down the line, or were they just part of the whole scene? What a thrill for his fans! Ditto Mike's suggestion for a photoessay.

I am not real sure if I can allow this printed if requested - Johnny did not give me the okay - and I do not want to do something that would not be good for him - or anyone for that matter. Always what to be on the side of "right"
