Strange Silhouettes
I go on vacation every year to Palm Desert, CA, and have always wanted to go to Joshua Tree National Park, which is just about an hour away. I've never gone, until now. I'm so glad I finally made it there. This is a 5-second exposure.

beautiful capture of the sunset colors. That blue, that shade about 2/3 of the way up, is my favorite color... I never saw that color before moving to the west... I've tried and tried to capture that blue... you got it here!!

Very nice. I lived in the High Desert--just over the San Bernardino mountains--until I was 21. I miss those joshua trees; there's nothing like them. People often think the desert is ugly, but you just have to sit still and watch the beauty open to you.
