Grand Central - 7 am

I took this shot of New York's Grand Central Terminal at 7am, just as the morning rush was starting. I didn't have a tripod (or the requisite permit) so I simply rested my camera on the marble railing. I wanted a shot which would show the activity at the station so I wanted a slow shutter speed, but I also wanted the building to be sharp.

    Nailed it. Nice detail but you also have that sense of motion you were looking for. Love it!

    Thanks. I was surprised at how sharp it came out. It's hard to see in the browser, but in Photoshop if you zoom on the clock, the clock face is pretty sharp, as is the writing over the hallways leading out or to the tracks.
