1985 -- The movie "The Last Dragon" debuts in theaters. I thought Taimak was the hottest thing since sliced bread but as it turns out, Laura Charles a.k.a Vanity seemed more his speed!
1985 -- The charity single "We Are The World" is recorded in Hollywood, California. Michael Jackson still looked like a normal guy with a normal nose. I cried the first time I heard that song.
1985 -- Fellow Brooklynite (and all around mad man), Mike Tyson makes his professional debut in Albany, New York, a match which he wins by a first round knockout. What did Robin Givens ever see in that guy? *cue the cash registers*
1985 -- Summer at Coney Island is the absolute best! Chowing down on Nathan's and cotton candy while chillin' with my peeps -- damn! It couldn't get any better! I miss those days!! :o)
