These oranges are on a very large and old tree that grows in my neighbor's yard. Many of the branches hang over our fence and provide fresh-squeezed juice for everyone in the morning. It produces plenty of fruit every year and the oranges are sweeter, juicier and thinner skinned than most of the more "modern" varieties grown in large groves for commercial juicing. We often use the zest for cooking and baking as well. Fresh is best when it comes to food, and being able to pick it youself is best of all.
