This is Murray park directly across the street from my apt in Long Island City, Queens. It's just over the East river from midtown Manhattan. The weather here can turn from minute to minute; and when it does the entire vibe around you changes with it. On this fall morning there was a storm coming. It had just started to hit Manhattan, but Queens was still sunny. It was a calm before the storm, eerily intensifying everything.
