Running out of gas can be a good thing
When work stops because the gas price is to high. Global warming starts to come down.
When energy become to expensive to use pollution will stop. Maybe this is Mother Natures way to survive. We are all connected.
In the story Running out of gas could be a good thing.

Nature will take care of everything eventually. It might be uncomfortable, maybe even painful, but adjustments will be made. Excellent shot Glenn.

Aborigines believe that we are guests on this planet, that we are just visiting here therefore we should behave as guests. It is expected from us we would leave it as we found it :). Nice believing, if everyone would think like this, global warming and other stuff would be unknown to us. But human nature is greedy, money rules the world, we want more all the time, no one notices consequences of the progress and when it is noticed, wealth is still more important than the health of our land, society and every individual living creature. As you say Glenn, we are all connected, but unfortunately people are not aware that when they are destroying nature, they destroy themselves too. An old Cree Indian prophecy says:
Only after the last tree has been cut down,
Only after the last river has been poisoned,
Only after the last fish has been caught,
Only then will you find that money cannot be eaten.
Hope they are wrong and we are smarter so we will realize this before it's too late. But, can greedy human nature be beaten? Well, hmmm, although a big optimist in life :) I admit I'm sceptic about it. Nature has been telling us something for a long time but we are too busy to notice, to stop rushing for a minute and think :). We just keep testing mother's nature patience :D. -

We are all so used to so many conveniences that so many do with out. I think in the US when things like this come to pass we will be the most devasted because we are so used to luxuries. Chaos I think before calm unfortunately. Keep it coming Glenn, remind us to open those eyes to the world around us. We are truly all connected.
