This is a scene from the rusted boarding ramp of an old kiddie rollercoaster that was part of an amusement park that has been closed for years. My aunts, uncles and mother rode this ride as children. Having this photo is bittersweet, because though it is a priceless piece of history it is also a reminder that everything we have ever cherished will eventually waste away to nothing. It almost seems as if there is sadness in the painted cartoon eyes of the little yellow rollercoaster car.
