Big Face 24
From the series "Extreme Close-up". A series of decontextualized street portraits taken in informal circumstances and with natural light, using a close-up as the main format to create uncomfortable results for the viewers. A way at looking "Portraiture" as landscapes, a catalogue networking of scenarios with unexpected placements or juxtapositions all related to the human condition but in unusual or provocative sequences that could refer to encounters of various sources such as gender contrasts, diversity issues, and different states of emotions.

I don't know if it is the background or the lighting, but I think this is one of the best of your big face series.

I'll agree with Fran. There's something about this particular portrait that transcends all the others. Good stuff Rog.
