The Air Up There

I feel most alone here, in the sky, among the clouds as I travel around the country for work. Too seldom does my family get to come with me and it's here, seeing these foreign cloudscapes that I find myself feeing most displaced, most lonely and longing for the touch of my husband and daughter.

These shots seem to be taken at a really above average altitude.... How and where did you get these. They're very cool.

Thanks! They were taken at 39,000 feet en route from Orlando to St. Louis. The color variation that gives them the "space" look is from darkness coming from the edge o the window.
