My father died almost four years ago. My daughter, his first grandchild, was only two when he passed away. This photo, taken with an early model Fuji Finepix point and shoot digital camera, in 2003, is one of my favorites. It captures their relationship perfectly.
While I struggle with the concept of faith, I have no doubt that he watches over her from somewhere, with this exact same look on his face.
