On one of my last days in St. Petersburg after living there for four months, my friend Alex (pictured) and I came across this giant flower pot in the middle of Palace Square. We never figured out why it was there, but right after I snapped this photo security rushed to move us away. The famous Hermitage Museum is in the background. St. Petersburg, Russia. May 13, 2008.
