I wonder if its fashion or whats available that changes paint colours over the years?

    Mostly new colour pigments come from the car industry as they are always looking for new colours to paint their cars. The knock-on effect of this is that artists and I suppose normal paint manufacturers get new, stable pigments to add to their paints. :)
