The Catholic Evidence Guild have been at Speakers Corner longer than most. Historically members of the Guild would attend lectures at Westminster Abbey during the week and would then go into the city (places like Tower Hill and Speakers Corner) and spread the teachings of the Catholic Church. Members of the Guild have been active at Speakers Corner since 1918 when the Westminster Chapter was founded.
