This is Red. I met him when i was assigned "around town" photos by my managing editor the Eagle Times. I was driving around Westminster, Vermont, for at least 20 minutes (it's a very small town) and saw Red sitting on his front steps from the road. I immediately stopped and asked if I could take his photograph. Red obliged, and began telling me wonderful stories about life 80 years ago and about his great grandmother who happened to be a Mohawk Indian.
The moral to this story is that life is too short to just drive by.
