Today on my sentimental journey into my past...I learned much. A return to a time when a much different much more naive Laura existed... a place soon to cease to exist as that Laura has too moved onto a new life chapter. A call from the past sparked this sentimental journey, the passing of a mentor and friend...His spirit will be missed...but his passing brought back together many.

I sit here now having driven through that tunnel of memory and on into the light...a better Laura for the experience. What more can we ask of ourselves.

While pondering the day from the passenger side of the car....I lifted my camera and clicked while in a tunnel...and besides the obvious conversion to B&W...this image is as it came from the camera...from my heart.

It was an amazing trip in so many ways...I found out how important those moments we share with someone else...no matter how busy or how important we think our rushing around day to day is...it is those moments...when we stop and really connect with another human being....THOSE are the important moments...and today...as we mourned...laughed, cried..were all brought back together by this one event....his family took the time to tell me how he spoke of me and how my simple gift of my time...meant so much to him. I am just awed by the experience.

Simple shot....just normal digital shot while going through a tunnel...CLick and then converted to B&W...no magic. Thanks guys.
