I see democracy as freedom, civil liberties and the people that have helped others as well as us keep it or gain them. Although he passed while I was very young, what I remember about my grandpa is he was a very smart guy. He was an engineer, always interested in politics, had to know how everything worked, and was very impressed with the technology at the time... if he could only be here now.
