After 9/11 there was a debate about keeping Reagan National Airport open because of it's location near DC. They decided to reopen it and although it is convenient, the proximity of planes seems dangerous. I'm always startled at how many times a day it looks like a plane might be flying into an important building or monument. This is of course not as close as it may look but for me it is still too close for comfort.

Awesome! Love how the Monument is to the side--which gives the photo great depth--and the plane in the photo (creepy but cool) makes the Monument look HUGE!
