This is from a cemetery at the top of Piedmont Ave. in Oakland Ca. The flower was put there by family, or someone else. The sun was hidden behind a cloud and I used a polarizer to get the sky just right. This angel reminds me of some of the people that visit the cemetery as if it were a park. It has nice views of the bay and people just hang out and enjoy the day.

AWESOME Shot! A mentor of mine always told me, "your pictures should make your audience 'feel' something." This shot does just that. The Angel waits patiently....You know, strange at it seems for our times, back in the Victorian Era, families used to go picnic on the graves of departed loved ones, including them in their happy time. (I learned that doing a History Channel show back in the late 90’s.....1990’s that is!)
