Above the plants are porters, who are hired to carry bottles of beer etc kilometers into the Himalayas.

not really... you have to look hard to find it.
just imagine if it grew like this in a country where it is illegal, it would be smoked like crazy by everyone!
Just like in Laos, where a pack of cigarettes cost .25 cents, and nobody smokes (except the tourists)
