Gypsy Moth
A macro image of the gypsy moth caterpillar. This caterpillar can be found in the U.S. but is not native to the States. It is considered a destructive pest.

Wow...I've never seen a macro of a Gypsy Moth before. Great detail and wonderful colors. Some agency comes by every year and sets traps in my yard to see if there is a problem in our area but nothing so far.
