Yosemite Zen

As I was leaving Yosemite I stopped at Olmstead Point to watch the sunset. This place is significant to me because it is the first place I ever stopped to look at Yosemite. There are quite a few large boulders resting on the granite slabs, and I liked how this one sat in relation to the tree. I metered on the sky and shot the silhouette.

    Oooooh... I like this picture better than the one I took! Yeah, every time I hit the Tioga pass, I wind up taking another picture of this tree that grows out of solid granite. It's a wonderful sight.
