a bit of pink for peggy sue
This hydrangea grows in the yard of my very special sister-friend Kaila.
She works magic in her garden, and when I come to visit her she leads me into it and shows me what's in bloom, what's new, what needs to be pruned.
I follow her along paths dappled with shadows cast from honeysuckle vines and roses. Yellow trumpets hang low and sway languidly from a soft gust. My eyes are filled with color, my heart feels like warm honey inside my chest.
I willingly yield to the quiet seduction of this enchanted garden. Kaila is a goddess with a green thumb .
