Later Bloomer
Earlier in Spring, and for some unknown reason, our Christmas cactus decided to bloom a second time. It always blooms in late Nov/early Dec.
I happened to notice the sun shining on it one afternoon, giving the flower a particularly brilliant, almost fiery look against the dull green of the rest of the plant. That same light also gave some glowing brilliance to a few of those green parts, too.
