a forest of clover

in a forest of green my toes wiggle through
soft to the touch and earth friendly too
some with three and some with four
but still i find some with more
it calls to me every spring
and it knows' to make my heart sing
each time i can, i look down below
and wonder just how does the clover grow
for i'm looking over a forest of clover
just hoping that it'll never be over
