How I spent my Memorial Day...
1st of all - thank you to the Men and Women who serve our country, and to the familes of service men and woman who never came home... and to my daddy who left us 22 years ago to heaven... Thank you!
I spent it hanging out with my Mom and 2 great nieces who did not want their pictures taken. It was such a beautiful day - my mom and I thought we would taken the little darlings for a ride and take the photos at the park... they just would not have it! The oldest one Scarlet said "NO No NO! I do not want my picture taken!" and then call me an idot! what is this world coming to when a 3 year old knows the word idot!? Then little Mary didn't want her photo taken because her sister didn't want hers taken. We drove around anyway - went to the zoo and then Scarlet wanted to go see the "Ocean!" we are 2000 miles from an Ocean, she has never been to the Ocean so I have no idea where that came from, so I tool her to our lake and she would settle for that - but then she wanted to go swiming! NO WAY - we came home and my mom blew bubbles for her...
