I really like the concept. I just think the picture itself was a little stale (the composition, the background, foreground, could have maybe used an interesting photoshop edit). Try retaking it with maybe a city scape in the background and maybe add a contrasting S curve. Maybe get it around dawn so the sky can be warmed up by the setting sun and get some industrial smoke floating around? Just some ideas, but I still like where you are going with this one.
