I love my dog more than I love most of my friends,

his 7 years of life Lucas has been the best listener, comforter, and companion I have ever come across, he's loyally by my feet when I wake up and patiently waiting by the door when I come home. He has taught me how to value simple moments in life.

Lucas stands above my knees and is over 60 pounds; he could easily injure another living thing but showed me just how gentle he is when I brought him home a litter of abandoned kittens.
