Our Beautiful Biba has Died
Our Aussie Shepherd, Biba, died from heart failure this week. Here she is, overseeing us from the balcony overlooking downstairs. This was her favorite haunt, and she'd jump the barrier I put at the bottom of the staircase to keep the Boston Terriers from "going up" and destroying the the boys' rooms. She was so intent on entering this private world of watching from above, from which she could view her flock of us, the boys, the cats, and the little dogs, that on any given day, up I'd look, feeling her watching me, and there, I'd spot her. Now, she still surely watches from above. God Speed, Biba. We love you. We miss you. Our hearts are broken.
