I actually bought these flowers as props for a doll photo shoot but couldn't resist them. So much so that I also wrote this haiku:
Two-lipped ray florets,
The striking capitulum:
Gerbera daisies.
I know that flower photos are amazingly trite but there was still something about my gerbera friends that I couldn't say no to.

Excellent color and composition. The DOF is perfect allowing for detail across the shot but softening the background. Nice shot !
