At Eachothers' Throats

A worker gently wipes the sweat off the neck of a soldier standing guard, holding his wrist as the soldier grips his gun with the tip at the worker's neck.

Moving forward.

The composition of this shot couldn't be better, a strangely artistic moment in time.

There is not one thing in the frame that shouldn't be...a one act play, of sorts. Exquisite.

My husband and I both voted yes. The sword at the throat is a spectacular touch! Subtle, and yet, NOT! The B&W makes this shot even more stern, and yet, loving! Cool - I love the irony in this, as I do in life, Devon!

greatly captured and the impression on the worker's face and the lack of impression of the soldier creates a weird balance.
