A holly canopy

This is a shot of a canopy that automatically stretches from the center of a marble column that opens up to reveal it. After it unfurls, the contraption looks like a giant elegant umbrella. The location is the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
