X-cellent crop; what's the story on the suited one on the steps to the right?

I'm trying to figure out who the famous people are that those paparazzi are trying to get on film..........this could work for the Meta theme.

I can't stop looking at this for some reason..........that is one badass American cop (sorry, it's a thing with us Canucks) and the singer looks like a square dance caller.....just out of curiousity - what was the musical selection? And how come all the men are too cool to dance? (or do the hokey-pokey or whatever it is tht they're doing?)

I think the cop was more concerned with the traffic flow (both vehicular and pedestrian) than he was with the celebration. They were singing folk tunes about peace and love (while Republicans near by sang about Ol' 41's Thousand Points of Light-just kidding). There were some "guys" holding hands with the "gals," but Neighbor Day is mostly a reality show meets chick flick kinda thing.

It went like fun, John. And, well, we need to put these happenings in context, can't just throw it in the middle of 5th Ave. 'n expect wild applause. Westerly's neighbors might be a bit 'funner'...

Oh this is hilarious fun. It reminds me of an ad a newbie colleague of mine posted recently for a friend. (must be desparately lonely, ancient, sick and really rich with no family. Willing to take me out to dinner, the movies etc - it got us all laughing)

Heh, when I came to this photo from your comment on mine, I see that I've already favorited it, but for some reason hadn't left a comment. So let me fix that. This is just really heartwarming, interesting, funny (in the nice way) and altogether charming!

Oh yes, and the guy on the far right? My guess is that he's from the federal government, collecting evidence on these obviously subversive neighborhood pride types ;-)
