I wanted to attend the Obama rally here in Portland but I opted to go out for lunch with my family instead. Even though I was happy to spend some much needed quality time with my kids, I was also sort of kicking myself for missing out on the rally. On our way home from lunch, we noticed quite the crowd at Lew's Drive-In which is about three blocks away from my house. Wouldn't you know it? There he was, Barack Obama with his wife, Michelle, plus a sizable entourage, having a little lunch while a crowd of onlookers and reporters gathered in the parking lot outside. I only saw him for a couple of minutes and he didn't say much at all. Still, lucky me.

Nice shot Maria. I was also lucky enuff to get a shot of him when he was in Florida the only thing is I didnt have my zoom lens so I couldnt get as close as I wanted to and I'm only 5'6 and the crowd on average was much taller than I was LOL. Once again very nice capture--that picture is history in the making.
