This means much to me because for a long time, I did not have 'faith' in this image because I feel it is technically flawed - the main subject is too dark while the background is too bright.
But I always liked the capture and the mood of this image.
So when I was preparing images for my "Three Steps One Bow' photo essay, I thought... what the heck, let's include this.
I felt people at jpg would be more appreciative of things like this in spite of techincal flaws.
Your affirmation has proven me right :-)

Richard-- Not all good or important photographs are without flaws. As you felt, the moment and the emotion were too important to let "rules" get in the way. I wholly agree with your approach and the picture has meaning for me.
