It was snowing while we hiked into the dark wilderness the night before this photo was taken. We awoke to this beautiful (but freezing cold) morning and moved on. Taken from on top of frozen Mirror Lake.
Snowshoe backpacking is very fun, but make sure you leave prepared!
The area received the most snow this year (2007-08) since 1984.
