Smoky autumn
A month ago I was up in north east Victoria (Australia) doing some work on my father's block of land. It was a big gold mining area back in the late 1800's. Lots of European deciduous trees grown up there. (There's only a couple of deciduous trees native to Oz.)
At the time we were there lots of burning off being done. Everyone tries to reduce scrub in preparation for the summer. Very bushfire prone area. This shot in front of one of the vineyards starting to be a familiar feature of this area.
