Bobby's Bar - Candlemaker Row (near Greyfriars Kirkyard), Edinburgh, Scotland, UK
The story of Boby's favorite hangout place is not a happiest one, but undoubtedly touching and unique... Grayfriars Bobby was a Skye Terrier that lived with his master John Gray, a night watchman, in 19th-century Edinburgh in Scotland. For years Bobby and John were inseparable couple. Until February 1858, when unfortunately John died of tuberculosis. He was buried in Greyfriars Kirkyard - graveyard in the Old Town of Edinburgh. It is said, that lonely Bobby spend the next 14 years of his life sitting on his master's grave...
In memory, a small statue of Bobby can be found in front of the Greyfriars Bobby pub, near Grayfriars Kirkyard where both Bobby and John are buried. Not far from each other... as always.

given the story, I'm surprised you didn't submit this to favourite hangouts.... (on Bobby's behalf).
