  I am all for alternative energy, but these things creep me out in form the way oil drills do...plus which, don't birds fly into them all too frequently? What's the balance, the price to be paid...always the question.

  I agree with Phil! This must be out toward where I live in the Coachella Valley, CA. We call them Windmill Farms. When I first moved here 12 years ago, there were very few of these....now there are hundreds. Not beauties for sure, but efficient! I sure wish that I had one in my back yard instead of paying the outrageous summer energy bills!
