I spent a little over 40 minutes total with this Peacock, watching his dance. I tried to leave 20 minutes into it, but he let out a yelp, and so, ever the sucker, I stayed around.
His dance was hypnotizing and beautiful, but also quite amusing. He was very entranced with himself, I guess I would be too if I looked like that.
This photo was taken about 30 minuted into his dance when an innocent little squirrel showed up...he just wanted to cross the path in front of the Peacock, but he would have none of it. He chased that little squirrel all the way down a narrow path, and then strutted his stuff on the walk back.
