The Wonder of the Peacock
At a recent trip to the LA Zoo, I made friends with this peacock. He hammed it up for the camera, opening and closing his magnificent feathers with abandon. When I tried to walk away he let out a huge cry - it was the most unusual sound I had ever heard. Needless to say, I stuck around for another 20 minutes completely entranced with Mr. Peacock, watching him do his beautiful dance.
