Dachshunds what can I say, they are so photogenic. Especially after clawing, digging, biting and routing through the dirt. I have three which I find great humor in photographing. This rare one loves to hunt not only small game, but earth worms. And it seems the more mud that is packed into her nose and toes the happier she is. She is like the King Kong of our backyard and the earthworms all flee for their lives when she thunders out the back door in search of her guilty pleasures.

Tremendous capture and story !! Dachsies ROCK !! I grew up w/ them, we bred them. This one of yours is a wonderful example of the "old style" Dachs. The "new" ones are too gaunt and small. Fav !!
