The kea is the only true alpine parrot in the world. It lives only in the New Zealand alps. This photo was taken at the Fox glacier car park in the South Island. Keas will often come to public places like this and wreck cars by ripping apart roof racks or anything rubber. This one let me get within arms reach of it to take this shot.
