I.D.A.H.O.: Prisoner Of Tho't
Originally captured on Kodak High Speed Infrared film, printed on silver paper, then solarized (all in traditional wet darkroom.) Final print was scanned into Photoshop and levels were adjusted to intensify the effect.
I titled this image "Prisoner Of Tho't" and it represents how so many of us in the gay community feel imprisoned because of our thoughts. We can't express our feelings or thoughts in public for fear of some kind of retaliation. We can't openly flirt w/ the cute guy (or girl) we see at the mall because what if he's not gay? How will he react? What if someone else sees it and how will they react? Will my life be in danger?
It's getting better than it used to be, but it's still a long way off until we all are created equal and people will see that "it's only love."

So meaningful and cool - love the cross. Ironic, isn't it, that so many religions would write you off as a "sinner" for being just the way God made you, as thought THEY know better than God? This perplexes and angers me about religion. My best to you for having to tolerate an intolerant world - rock on, honey - be yourself, and rise above it - you are a remarkable talent. Who frickin cares what your sexual preference is?!? NOT I!!!!!! YOU ROCK! So does your brilliant and meaningful art.
