Chris!!! you have got to give me the scoop on Catalina Island. I want to visit it too :) Aaaah the never ending list of places to check out. It doesn't help that I'm staring at your fantastic pictures - and this is a classic example! :)

Portia-Catalina is a fun place to visit. Each time I go, I fall further in love with the island. We leave from Dana Point for the ride over. You can just hang out with your family in town/beach, or explore into the back country with different tours.
We have gone for the day, and also, we have stayed a couple days to explore. -
