At the United Palace Theatre in New York, NY.
The venue is an old seated movie theatre, used by a church, but they've started having concerts in the last few years. I was shooting from the edge of the stage, kneeling, when the singer beckoned the crowd to get out of their chairs and move forward. A few thousand rabid, happy fans did.
