$5 Lady

As I was walking the streets of San Francisco giving photo lessons to one of my friends, this lady comes up to us and asks "Excuse me do you fellas have 5 dollars I can have?". We told her no, and check our pockets for change. I found a quarter but wouldn't give it to her unless she let me take a pic of her. This is the result. What good things can come from a quarter :)
She told us that she had lost her family in a car accident in 2006, and had turned to drugs and alchohol. After loosing her family, home, car, job, etc. she is now trying to make a life for herself and support her addictions. I wish I could spare more than a quarter but what can you do.
