Red Meat
A photo from Kenya's wild Masai Mara game reserve. There were 11 lions feasting on a recently captured wildebeast, growling and munching on bits of flesh - uninterested in our prescence in the safari van just metres away. Eventually there were just two left and we drove up even closer - just a couple a metres away from the action - and in this photograph the two lions are having a slight conflict over their meal.
